This year, Epson introduced the CX-A Series, a new family of high-performance 6-axis robots. Companies in the automotive, electronics, medical and pharmaceutical, logistics, and plastics and metal processing industries benefit from the new series in all applications that demand fast, complex movements with high precision.

The CX-A series machines are available in 18 different configurations and handle payloads of 4 kg to 7 kg with arm lengths ranging from 600 mm to 900 mm. All variants share the same footprint and mounting dimensions, making the robots easily interchangeable with one another. This reduces the need to modify existing production lines.

Volker Spanier, Head of Manufacturing Solutions at Epson Deutschland GmbH, explains: "With the CX-A Series, we are making a strong statement in the 6-axis robot market. In the new machines, we have combined Epson's proven precision with greater robustness and more flexible motion control."

The CX-A Series supports both the development of new automation projects and the easy retrofitting of existing installations based on Epson's C-Series robots.
